Request deletion of your Wave Ride account and all associated data.

How to Delete Your Account

To delete your Wave Ride account, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Wave Ride account in the mobile app or on the web at wavemacroapp.vercel.app/sign-in.
  2. Navigate to your Profile page.
  3. Tap or click "Delete Account" at the bottom of the profile page.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted. Your account and data will be permanently deleted.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your user profile (name, email, phone number, profile photo)
  • Saved addresses and preferences
  • Payment methods and Stripe customer record
  • Device tokens and push notification registrations
  • SMS consent records
  • Your Firebase authentication account

What Data Is Retained

For legal, regulatory, and safety purposes, certain data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion:

  • Ride and order history — retained as required by applicable tax, insurance, and regulatory obligations.
  • Audit logs — a record of the deletion request is kept for compliance purposes.
  • Transaction records — payment transaction history may be retained as required by financial regulations.

Deletion Timeline

Account deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation. Your account will be inaccessible right away. Any retained data (as described above) will be automatically purged after the applicable retention period.
